A Place Of Peace

From digital photography to  mixed media works, Queen's art runs the gauntlet of artistic creativity. Colorful, patterned and textual (some pieces invite touching) her works reflect her culture as well as cultures throughout the world. Personal, human issues and spirituality both Christian and non-christian are often subject matter for the artist. Queen will tell you her work is usually a reflection of her thoughts and the artwork is an expression of them. Inspiration comes from everywhere but especially from life and books. She finds it difficult expressing herself working only in one medium. Wood burning, drawing, painting, print making, and mixed media are all utilized in her creative vision.
